A popular design for our wool and cashmere sweaters is cable knit. We have wool sweaters for days when temperatures are truly low and you need to trap in maximum body heat, and we have cashmere sweaters to keep you cozy with their soft luxurious texture. Our women’s sweaters come in a variety of materials because we know everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the levels of comfort and warmth they expect from their sweater. Cardigans are a nice alternative to jackets when the weather is warm and all you need is a light layer. A cardigan can easily add some style to a casual outfit, or pair nicely with a dress for a special occasion. For light coverage, choose one of our cardigans for women. We carry the day by looking and living like our Lord. As we press to be more like Jesus in our soul and spirit….we will be the Big Joker in the lives of others. I don’t feel comfortable calling Him a Joker but Jesus has been the Big J in my life. He is the embodiment of TRUST, so as a born-again child of God, we should also be trustworthy. The results are glorified thru the lives of the redeemed. His integrity was demonstrated by His Son’s walk on Earth. God announced his intention when He said, “Let there be light.” He demonstrated His competence when He raised Christ from the grave. Trust comes from intention, competence, integrity, and results. If you have grown in God since your day of Salvation then God has grown in you. Regardless of color or face, some people you learn to not count on, others you perceive as only POSSIBLE and a few….are always reliable because they reliably carry The BOOK. I have learned the hard way, we have church people who wear different suits and many faces. I have ordered food for hundreds to only have dozens show up. I have been in the ministry formally since 1999. Spades made me think of my church, my personal walk with Jesus, my family, and friends. So as long as you bid correctly, you will eventually become victorious. If you underbid ten books during one game, your score will go backward 100 points. That means you will lose all of the points that you bid. What matters is your bid or approximation of your hand. For others, you will feel like the worlds’ best card shark. For some hands, you will barely win a book. God’s providence will take care of the hands that you are dealt. Spades is all about approximating your hand correctly. The key to becoming a good Spades player is not in the cards that you play. Special Note: Elements of that first paragraph are taken from WikiHow and Wikipedia. For country people like myself, we play a type of spades called, “Joker, Joker, Deuce!” That means we include the Big Joker, the Small Joker and the two of Spades as the highest cards in the deck. Spades cannot be played until the player is out of other suits, another player has cut Spades or the player is out of the played suit. Of course, Spades will trump all other suits. (A trick is a unit of play where all four players throw down their cards.) The object is to take at least the number of tricks(known as books) that were bid before play of the hand began. With Spades four players(two teams) bid a number of tricks. A simple game of Spades made me reflect on our relationship with one another and our covenant with God. I was playing my favorite card game the other day and it made me think of something spiritual.
